For this rich and flavoursome table wine, we reserved the best rows of fruit and picked mid-season. A slower and cooler ferment of seven days ensured optimal palate weight and only French oak puncheons were chosen for maturation. Aromas of rosemary and sage combine with a palate of plums and blackberries.
We find this variety incredibly versatile as we use it in our sparkling red, rosé, a variety of red table wine styles and fortified wine. It is known as Tinta Roriz in Portugal and Tempranillo in Spain.
Winner of "Best Emerging Or Alternative Varietal Or Blend" Trophy at the Victorian Wines Show in 2019.
