The Winemakers of Rutherglen invite you to stray into the Dark Side.

From 2-10 August in Rutherglen, Northeast Victoria, step into a world where the last rays of sun fade into the horizon and the winter moon rises, revealing the dark arts of winemaking. The Dark Side of Wine is a festival for the curious and the bold, offering a series of immersive experiences.

Try your hand at blending aged stocks and experimenting with vibrant new vintages at both day and nighttime events. With Muscat and Durif as the intensely beating heart of the program, each experience will leave you enriched by the lore of Rutherglen’s wines and enlivened by the playful spirit of its winemakers.

And don’t miss out on Stanton & Killeen's annual sell out Murder Mystery event Deadly Vintage: A Murder at Gracerray set in the 1950s amongst the gangstas and rock 'n rollers of the Rutherglen wine scene. With limited places available, this event is sure to be a killer good time!
